Born in Massa in 1962, where he lives, he graduated with honours in Architecture from the University of Florence with a thesis in architectural design.
He has practised since 1994 with a clear goal: an architecture workshop combining research and design experimentation, working from small to large scale, from interiors to architecture and urban design.
Peak House, TaipeiHe has established collaborations with the “P. Tacca” Marble Professional Institute in Carrara and with the Department of Architecture of the University of Florence. He coordinates international work in the field of advanced façade and envelope systems.
He works on technological and educational experimentation for public schools and takes part in training architecture and engineering departments on innovative building envelopes. In the 2018/2019 academic year he was an adjunct professor at the University of Florence in the design studio of the first-level Master in Interior Design; since 2019 he has collaborated with Donghua University in Shanghai.

Curiosity drives every project: it is the mechanism that allows research and experimentation, now that architecture has reached a very high level of complexity and cannot ignore technological innovation in construction.
Design is not a purely mental exercise but finds its definition in construction: research becomes essential to define spaces and volumes where people can live in the best conditions of wellbeing.

In the Faroe Islands, sloping planes inspired by the waves reconnect the town with the sea.
